First Bike

My Future First Half Ironman
In 68 days I will be doing my first half ironman distance triathlon. 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run. This is my motivation/training log. I haven't done a triathlon in over 5 or 6 years, and am feeling a little crazy for doing this, but I like goals. Especially fitness goals. So here I go... Saturday, June 16: 400 yd swim - slow and tiring 6 mile run - 1:02 - 10:18 pace - about 88 degrees and sunny Today, Monday, June 18: 750yd swim - 0:17 - not bad for 2nd day of swimming, but that is about a 51 min swim, about 20 min too slow. 5 mile run - 48:32 - 9:42 pace - 92 degrees and sunny
